Mitzi Gordon

Mitzi Gordon is a familiar face in the Bay area's arts community for her past work at the Dali Museum and the Tampa Museum of Art, where she helped develop marketing and membership programs. Her background also includes experience as a reporter and editor for Media General, publisher of the Tampa Tribune, and contributor to VisitFlorida.com, a state-funded tourism website that melds marketing and travel journalism. She holds a BA in journalism from New York University and owns the Bluebird Books Bus literary arts project.

    On April 15, 1912, RMS Titanic collided with an iceberg during her maiden voyage from Southampton, UK to New York City. More than 1,500 lives were lost, while 705 were saved, in one of history’s deadliest peacetime maritime disasters.
